The Kellogg's Bowl.

I never fancy cereals for breakfast. For me breakfast should be piping hot and not sweet.

After the festive season I was craving to eat something which gave me a feeling of eating low cal and also a feeling of eating something healthy at the same time tasty.

I have been looking at this box of special K for quiet sometime and always wanted to taste it with fruits. Anyways, I decided to give it a try.

I took a big bow, added 45 gms of cereal to it and lots of fruits and little milk. Kept it in my freezer for 5 minutes and out came a dish which was amazingly tasty.

I do not have it for breakfast nor do I follow the special K challenge. But this bowl does provide a very good way of an instant fulfilling meal specially if you love fruits, milk and little sugar. For a lazy bum like me it becomes my lunch and sometimes my dinner (but never my breakfast).

If you are on a low cal diet and are visiting relatives and you are concerned about high cal food then this can come to your rescue. It makes for an easy comforting quick meal and is far healthier than a packet of instant noodles.

Do keep a check on portion size though. A 45 gms is 3 fistful.

Add in fruits of your choice. I added, 3 strawberries, 4-5 grapes, 1 apple, 1 pear.

This bowl keeps me full for 2 to 3 hours which works perfectly for me. I get the satisfaction of a full stomach.

This is just a small tip that I really liked. Give it a try, it might help you too.

Bon Apitite!!!

  3. Dear Rads,

I don't like museli at all :(. I am not even a fan of cornflakes but decided to give this one a try with fresh fruits and it tasted yum.

Try it with a chutku packet.

    Have a great day ahead.

  4. Dear Girl,

The gadget is a food weighing scale. This was the first thing I bought when I started with weight loss. Wanted to know the portion size and discovered how much I used to underestimate the portion size.

    Have a great day ahead.

  6. Dear Lata,

Sorry for the late reply. Keep your dairy intake and 200ml milk is fine. I never gave up dairy products :).

    Have a great day ahead.

    regards
